In the event that you have a dispute with one or more of our businesses, you release SEMMP, our members, directors, independent sales agents, contract subsidiaries and employees from claims demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way connected with disputes. We do however reserve the right to remove all illegal items, any items and or links unsuitable for the general public. SEMMP Business Ratings will apply to all business display pages. All business rating complaints & recommendations are confidential!! The business contact person will be notified of all complaints & recommendations through the site and given the opportunity to post or hide such comments on their display page. All complaints and recommendations will be counted and compiled to determine overall business rating. There will be a 14day automatic "pending status" delay on such rating items. This will give the business ample time to address any issues before final rating change. The business must confirm that the issue posted by the complainant has been resolved within the pending status time. In the event that multiple complaints are received while in "pending status", the business rating will be changed based solely on the fact of multiple pending cases.

In the unlikely event that your business rating calculation has reached the SEMMP Minimum or below SEMMP Minimum rating requirement your business will be the subject of a business performance review. The business in question will be summoned to meet with the business member committee and ISA for a review, and then the deciding members will determine if the business will be banned from South East Michigan Market Place, SEMMP.COM. In the event that your business has been banned after review and the decision was set forth by the deciding members, you release SEMMP, our members, directors, independent sales agents, contract subsidiaries and employees from claims demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way connected with disputes.

Upon banning of a business, the business pages will be disabled, removed and replaced with a BANNED BUSINESS Page; all content stored for that business will be deleted and the links to the business pages will receive a "BANNED BUSINESS" Description and Icon for the duration of one year. The banned business link and page will be removed after one year.

All recommendations will be screened and checked for validity, based on SEMMP's electronic certification & identifying means.
